Precarious was the first collaboration between Dislocate, Circus Oz & The Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria.
Dislocate were engaged for our specialised dramaturgical skills, having had a long history of creating circus around a cohesive idea without losing the joy and exhilaration circus celebrates.
The RBGV were excited to present Circus Oz and passionate to tell a story that made sense of the natural setting. Dislocate worked with Rob Tannion, Artistic Director of Circus Oz to devise the storyboard, co-lead the creative team, develop the performance with the cast, provide dramaturgy and co-direction.
Precarious was enthusiastically received by audiences, got rave reviews and sold out every show.
