The Moomba Parade

Since 2013 Dislocate have collaborated to help make the Melbourne Moomba Parade the ultimate celebration of Melbourne’s rich history, community, arts and culture.
As part of the parade’s creative team we assist in the development of parade content, advise on parade participants, engage professional performers, consult on music and choreography, assist participant rehearsals and co-direct mass rehearsals.
Kate is a joy to work with. She is a hugely collaborative creative team member and brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, particularly within clowning and circus arts disciplines. Her ability to take a static object and turn it into a performers playground provides the element of magic that sets Moomba Parade apart from the rest.
